Last Friday, before dropping by Accessorize SMNE, Julie went to Pink Parlour at SM The Block for her pamper session. The pampering was very well-deserved since it was a busy week for our baby girl, career- and acads-wise. 

Unlike the usual Zen theme, Pink Parlour's interior was sassy and fab so it fits the style of modern girls like Julie. They offer waxing services, nail care, and spray tanning. But since she has another appointment after, Julie decided to get a mani-pedi only for her first session. Here she is selecting the color she likes from their palettes. They have a looot of stock colors, mind you. Next time we'll take a photo of their shelf filled with nail polish. ;)

For the girls (and guys) who are just starting to try nail care services, don't forget to wear open-toe footwear so you can allow the polish to fully dry. Also, avoid wearing ankle-length bottoms. If you're going to wear such a pair, make sure you can roll them up to your mid-calf, at least, for the leg and foot scrub and massage.

While having her nails done, Julie remained entertained by Pink Parlour's AV system. They actually have a set of DVDs that one can choose from, including movies and TV shows. Julie just opted to go by what the other customers were already watching. Can you guess what (or who) she's watching here? ;)

With the accommodating people of Pink Parlour! It was so cute how they insisted on getting everyone's preferred drinks. If you are to ask, for Julie, it was warm tea. ;)

Finished product: orange polish for the first visit! OPI nail polish was used, which can last for up to 14 days. Pink Parlour also does some nail art if you are in the mood for it.

You, guys, should give Pink Parlour's services a try. Apart from the high quality materials used for their treatments, the staff are also very nice. And since they are mainly a waxing salon, let's watch out for Julie's other experiences with them. Until the next! ;)
