Japs' Style

Sunday All Stars has already aired in place of Party Pilipinas but we cannot pass on posting about this outfit of Julie Anne's during the latter's last pre-show rehearsal. We love the funky combination of the geometric studs on her top with the geometric prints on her pants. Both were balanced by the dainty gold flats and Julie's simple hairstyle for a laid-back casual look.What do you think? :)

The day after her school finals, Japs immediately proceeded to work and had a mini-concert at Party Place in San Fernando, Pampanga. She challenged a rocker chick look that night, which she later decreased of layers for a sexier yet still spunky look. We especially loved her denim bustier and studded platform pumps... which you have tweeted us about. Thanks, by the way, for all the Twitter reactions, telling us that you also liked Julie Anne's shoes. Unfortunately, we weren't able to determine from where these items are but we will update you as soon as we know. ;)

As for Julie's performances that night, we're proud to comment that our baby girl still improves albeit how good she already is. She connects better with the audience, shares some personal stories, is more confident, and has improved vocal technique. We're not music experts but we can hear that her voice is bigger now and that she can sustain notes longer. Here are Julie Anne's performances that we liked most during the mini-concert:

We couldn't find the right word to describe Japs' look during her Iloilo mall show last Friday. It looked a little bohemian but not quite. After thinking for quite a time, we chose the word 'vintage' because of the play on classic colors black and white, the gold accessories, and, most of all, those printed harem pants which we sooo love. We didn't find much photos of Julie Anne during the mall show so we added some photos of her and Steven Silva being all quirky behind the scenes. What do you think? x

When dressing up, do you ever feel the need to incorporate extra details that will make your look fab? And with "details," we mean only the carefully selected ones. A lot can go on in an outfit but a lot shouldn't be too much. Details should be just enough to make you stand out. Japs' look below is an example. Not a lot is shown in the photo but she looked like a doll because of her lovely eyes and the slight change in her hair color!

And as for Japs' outfit that day, it was simple and casual but the extra details made it look more hip. We love the neckline of her peplum top and the black accent on her pants. Classy combined with tough! <3

January 5th 2013, Japs' Maynila episode with Alden Richards was aired on TV. Her character's name was Paula, who was quite the wild child. It's kind of rare to see Japs play such a role so it was refreshing to watch. If you haven't seen it yet, you should go check out the videos on YouTube! And as for Japs' outfits for that episode, we were able to identify most of the items that she wore. Big thanks to the behind-the-scenes pictures Maynila uploaded to their FB page.
